Job Opening: Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor


1. Able to read and write
2. Possess the necessary health and physical qualifications; and
3. Pass an extensive background check and pre-employment drug screen
4. Experience in building and/or plant maintenance; knowledge of
Carpentry, painting, electrical, hvac, and plumbing work
5. Vocational Preparation The required vocational preparation may come from any of the following:
  • Vocational or Technical College education is desirable
  • Apprentice training
  • On- the job training
  • Essential experience in other jobs
6. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of weight
7. Valid TN Driver’s License is a must

Job Duties:
The duties of Maintenance Employee shall be as follows:
1. Repair County property as specially assigned;
2. Promote high standards of safety and good housekeeping methods in all work connected areas
3. Be a good moral of character and able-bodied and maintain personal cleanliness and neatness
4. Perform such duties as may be assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or County Mayor
